From Passion to Profession: Lisa Clune's Journey to Master Jeweller
Lisa, sole operator of Set Together, is a passionate jeweller and entrepreneur who has dedicated her life to the artistry of crafting exquisite jewellery pieces. Her journey in the world of jewellery began at the young age of 17 when she attended a prestigious jewellery school in Auckland. This formative experience ignited Lisa's creative spark and set her on a path to pursue her dreams.
In 2013, Lisa made the decision to move to Melbourne in search of employment opportunities as a jeweller. Determined to hone her skills and gain valuable industry experience, she immersed herself in the vibrant jewellery scene of Melbourne. For seven years, Lisa tirelessly dedicated herself to her craft, working six days a week as a manufacturing jeweller at two different jewellery studios.
Driven by a desire for constant growth and a thirst for knowledge, Lisa also pursued gemmology night classes for two years. Her dedication paid off in 2017 when she achieved her goal of becoming a certified gemologist, further solidifying her expertise in the field of precious stones.
As Lisa continued to develop her skills and gain experience within the jewellery industry, she realized that she yearned for the opportunity to express her own artistic vision. In 2021, fueled by her passion and the desire for creative freedom, Lisa took a leap of faith and founded Set Together Jewellery. With humble beginnings in the basement of her home, Lisa poured her heart and soul into building her own jewellery brand.
In early 2023, Lisa's hard work and determination moved Set Together Jewellery beyond her home basement, opening her own shopfront in Forest Glen on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This milestone marked a new chapter in Lisa’s journey and served as a testament to her unwavering passion for creating exceptional jewellery.
Today, Lisa continues to be the driving force behind Set Together Jewellery, bringing her distinctive designs to life and sharing them with jewellery enthusiasts around the world.
