  • Yes, we only buy off trusted suppliers withing the jewellery trade and deal only in conflict free gemstones and diamonds. All natural diamonds we buy are GIA certified

  • Turn around time takes four to six weeks

  • Yes, If you have a precious gemstone you would like to use, we are happy to design a ring around it.

  • Yes, can get a full refund up to two weeks from purchase for any item purchased in the shop as long as it is not damaged

REMODELLING JEWELLERY

  • Yes, we can create new jewellery from your existing jewellery.

  • The cost depends on the complexity of your new piece, how many stones need to be removed, and how much metal you want to remelt. You can expect a cost between $1200 for a simple remake up to $6000 for a more complex job.

  • We measure and count all the existing gemstones, we can estimate these measurements from a photo. Designs are drawn up using what you have, and then we discuss what design will be best. When the design is finalized, we get to work by removing all the stones measuring and weighing each one, inspecting all the metal to ensure there will be no contaminants, then the gold is weighed, melted down and manufactured to the chosen specifications.

  • Yes, we return all your left-over gemstones and can either return the unused gold, or credit the gold to your job.

  • Unfortunately we do not buy gemstones from the public, we only buy gemstones from our trusted suppliers.

  • Most yellow and rose gold jewellery ie; earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets, including 9 carat up to 24 carat gold.

  • No, it is best to keep the colour and gold carats the same for each melt.

  • We do not reuse platinum, white gold and silver.

  • No, jewellery designs can be done via email. After you send us a photo of your jewellery next to a ruler, we design concepts incorporating your gemstones and gold.

  • Yes, sending jewellery within Australia and around the world is safe, if you are concerned with posting jewellery, extra insurance cover is also an option.

  • I have been a jeweller since 2011 where I started formal training at the Peter Minturn Goldsmith and Design School.

  • Yes, I design every piece of jewellery and I also personally source each gemstone to fit with my designs

  • Yes, I make every piece of jewellery here. I am trained as a manufacturing jeweller first, my jewellery design skills developed over time spent making jewellery

  • Gemmology is the scientific study of gemstones. A gemmologist can identify any gemstone by observing the colour, specific gravity, refractive index, internal inclusions and other physical characteristics of that gemstone

  • Yes, I studied at the Gemmological Association of Australia at the Victorian division and graduated in 2017

  • Normally you’d start with an apprenticeship or start by studying jewellery at Tafe. Like any trade, you will learn the most onsite in a jewellery workshop
