Isaac came to us wanting to create a bespoke sapphire engagement ring for his partner.

His vision centred around a large, high-quality green sapphire, ideally in either an oval or cushion cut.

He also wanted to incorporate diamonds alongside the centre stone, provided they complemented the sapphire without overpowering it.

This ring was made in 18ct yellow gold.

The centre stone is a 3.6ct green oval sapphire from Queensland, Australia.

The side stones are natural oval diamonds with a combined carat weight of 0.40cts.

Three loose sapphires were sourced for Isaac to compare before selecting his favourite.

Once the centre sapphire was chosen, we explored side diamond options and selected a pair of 0.20ct oval diamonds. Their proportions complemented the sapphire beautifully while allowing it to remain the focal point of the design.

The claws were finished to fine points, giving the ring a delicate and refined appearance.

The centre sapphire was an exceptional gemstone, precision cut to maximise its brilliance and displaying a light, evenly distributed green body colour.
