Isaac wanted a bespoke sapphire engagement ring for his partner.

He wanted a large top quality green oval or cushion shaped sapphire as the centre stone.

He also wanted diamonds next to the sapphire as long as they didn’t overpower the centre sapphire.

This ring was made in 18ct yellow gold.

The centre stone is a 3.6ct green oval sapphire from Queensland, Australia.

The side stones are natural oval diamonds with a combined carat weight of 0.40cts.

Three loose sapphires were sourced for Isaac to choose from.

After he selected the feature sapphire, we discussed diamond options for the sides and chose oval shapes at 0.20cts each to suit the centre stone.

The claws were finished to a fine point to give delicate look.

This particular sapphire was an exceptional quality gemstone - cut to precision with a light even green body colour.
