Glenn wanted a sparkly rectangular green sapphire for his partners engagement ring.

He wanted a chunky style 18ct yellow gold ring that was easy to wear with the centre sapphire set into a sleek bezel setting.

This ring was made in 18ct yellow gold.

The centre stone is a 3.1ct green radiant-cut sapphire from Queensland, Australia and is bezel set.

The band tapers from wide to narrow from the top to the lower half of the ring.

Originally Glenn was looking for an emerald-cut sapphire but after seeing a few examples, he opted for a radiant cut sapphire due to emerald-cuts not being as sparkly.

The band is tapered from the setting downwards, this feature was made for comfort reasons.

The half round profile was chosen to soften the overall look of the ring, while also making it comfortable to wear.
