Past Projects | Bespoke Sapphire Rings

Sapphires are available in a range or colours and due to their chemical make-up they are strong and durable. We source our sapphires from international and local gemstone merchants, ensuring we can find the prefect sapphire for our clientele.

Green Sapphire and Diamond Trilogy Ring

  • Sarah was looking for a 2ct + green emerald-cut sapphire from Queensland, as that is where her and her partner David met.

She also wanted a classic style three stone ring with matching trapezoid diamonds either side.

  • Hand-made in 18ct yellow gold using heirloom gold.

The center stone is set into four pointed claws and the side stones are set into a straight bar and pointed claws.

Center stone: 2.68ct Emerald-cut Sapphire from QLD.
Side stones: 2 x 0.30ct Tapered baguette Diamonds

  • For the initial consultation, we sourced three sapphires for Sarah to view along with a number of matching tapered and trapezoid baguettes.

Once the sapphire was selected, the correct sized pair of diamonds were chosen to fit with it.

Art Deco Style Oval Sapphire Ring

  • Lisa had many old items of jewellery that she no longer wore. She wanted a beautiful ring made using her gemstones that was classic but still unique.

  • Three stone art deco style ring with a diamond set halo made in platinum.

The sapphires are bezel set and the diamonds are micro claw set.

Center stone: 1.90ct Oval blue sapphire
    Side stones: 2 × 5.0mm × 4.0mm heart-shaped blue sapphires
    Halo stones: 32 × 1.2mm round diamonds

  • The center sapphire was set to an east-west orientation in-order to shorten the spread of the ring.

The gemstones are curved around the ring to make it low as possible and comfortable to wear.

Emerald Cut Sapphire and Diamond Ring

  • Steph wanted an art deco style ring featuring a large green sapphire.

  • Platinum ring featuring a green sapphire from NSW with straight baguette diamonds.

Center stone: 3ct Emerald-cut green sapphire
    Side stones: 2 × 4.0 × 3.0mm straight baguette diamonds, 2 × 2.0 × 1.0mm straight baguette diamonds

  • This ring design is a classic style that was popularised in the 1920’s.

Platinum is the best choice of metal for a ring like this because it is the strongest and most durable of the precious metals.
